This project is on a sloping site on the palisades overlooking the Hudson River and New York City beyond. The site is narrow and angular, and to optimize the available views, the building has a single loaded corridor, with all but eight of its twenty eight units facing the river. A parking garage is on the two bottom levels and there are seven floors of living space above.
A curving brick facade "bulges" from the rectilinear plane of smaller cobalt blue porcelain tiles and large grey tiles.
Due to site constraints the building takes the appearance of a bow of a ship as it plows through an ocean of earth.
