Situated high above a river in Pike County, PA, this design/build VBA project serves as the relocation home for two suburban professionals ready to slow down their fast-paced lives. The residence was thoughtfully designed to embrace the tranquility of country living while accommodating the needs of a bustling household. The elevated vantage point offers sweeping river views, creating a serene environment for rejuvenation away from the city's pace. Emphasis on open, flexible spaces allows for seamless gathering and privacy alike, supporting both family interaction and individual retreat. Natural materials and a harmonious integration with the surrounding landscape further enhance the home's connection to its rural setting.
